# Spin It vs Raffle Name

The clearest difference is rating: Raffle Name at 4.7 against Spin It's 2.0. Raffle Name also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 37 months) and ratings volume (5.6K vs 2). Spin It's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and review sentiment (67% vs 57%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spin It sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Raffle Name sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Raffle Name holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raffle Name has 5.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Spin It's written reviews are positive against 57% of Raffle Name's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spin It ships an update every 37 months, Raffle Name every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
