# Recipeas vs Appetyt

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Appetyt at 100% against Recipeas's 49%. Appetyt also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Recipeas's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Appetyt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recipeas has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Recipeas's written reviews are positive against 100% of Appetyt's.

Recipeas ships an update every 5 days, Appetyt every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
