# ENCOMPASS® ELD vs Snap

The clearest difference is rating: Snap at 4.4 against ENCOMPASS® ELD's 4.0. ENCOMPASS® ELD's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (924 vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snap holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ENCOMPASS® ELD has 924 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of ENCOMPASS® ELD's written reviews are positive against 0% of Snap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ENCOMPASS® ELD ships an update every 2 months, Snap every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
