# X vs COMPASS NIL

The clearest difference is rating: COMPASS NIL at 2.4 against X's 1.9. COMPASS NIL also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (37 vs 9). X's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COMPASS NIL holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of X's written reviews are positive against 0% of COMPASS NIL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

X ships an update every 8 months, COMPASS NIL monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
