# YU Mobile vs OU Torah

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YU Mobile at 59% against OU Torah's 5%. YU Mobile also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). OU Torah's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OU Torah holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of YU Mobile's written reviews are positive against 5% of OU Torah's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YU Mobile ships an update every 5 months, OU Torah every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
