# ABC Contacts vs Tactful

The clearest difference is ads: Tactful at none against ABC Contacts's shown. Tactful also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). ABC Contacts's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Contacts sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and Tactful sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tactful holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Contacts has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of ABC Contacts's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tactful's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
