# Flashback vs Teleprompter Video ™

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flashback at none against Teleprompter Video ™'s 3. Flashback also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). Teleprompter Video ™'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (121 vs 7). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter Video ™ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Flashback asks for nothing beyond the download.

Teleprompter Video ™ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Video ™ has 121 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Flashback's written reviews are positive against 57% of Teleprompter Video ™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashback ships an update every 2 months, Teleprompter Video ™ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
