# Kevo vs Weiser

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Kevo at 27K against Weiser's 96. Kevo also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Weiser's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 25%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weiser holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kevo has 27K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Kevo's written reviews are positive against 40% of Weiser's.

Kevo ships an update every 6 weeks, Weiser every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
