# DirectorySpot vs Konstella

The clearest difference is rating: Konstella at 4.6 against DirectorySpot's 3.4. Konstella also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 38). DirectorySpot's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Konstella holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Konstella has 1.2K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of DirectorySpot's written reviews are positive against 56% of Konstella's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DirectorySpot ships an update every 3 months, Konstella every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
