# BLE RSSI Meter vs Thermal Effect

The clearest difference is rating: Thermal Effect at 4.4 against BLE RSSI Meter's 3.5. Thermal Effect also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (155 vs 11). BLE RSSI Meter's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 22%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Thermal Effect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermal Effect has 155 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of BLE RSSI Meter's written reviews are positive against 22% of Thermal Effect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
