# Telegram Messenger vs Cruizer

The clearest difference is rating: Cruizer at 5.0 against Telegram Messenger's 4.0. Cruizer also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Telegram Messenger's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 0%) and ratings volume (282K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telegram Messenger sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Cruizer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cruizer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telegram Messenger has 282K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Telegram Messenger's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cruizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Telegram Messenger ships an update fortnightly, Cruizer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
