# Congas! vs Drum Sets

The clearest difference is update cadence: Congas! at every 9 days against Drum Sets's every 6 months. Drum Sets's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Congas! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drum Sets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drum Sets holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Congas!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Drum Sets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Congas! ships an update every 9 days, Drum Sets every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
