# Congas! vs Djembe

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Djembe at none against Congas!'s 1. Djembe also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Congas!'s advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Congas! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Djembe asks for nothing beyond the download.

Djembe holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 43 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Congas!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Djembe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Congas! ships an update every 9 days, Djembe every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
