# Duo vs Teleprompter.com

The clearest difference is rating: Teleprompter.com at 4.8 against Duo's 3.7. Teleprompter.com also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 31 months) and ratings volume (30K vs 7). Duo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter.com sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Duo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Teleprompter.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter.com has 30K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Duo's written reviews are positive against 78% of Teleprompter.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Duo ships an update every 31 months, Teleprompter.com weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
