# Fraction Help vs Code Snap

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fraction Help at free with in-app purchases against Code Snap's subscription. Fraction Help also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). Code Snap's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fraction Help sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Code Snap sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Code Snap holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 207 and 231 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fraction Help's written reviews are positive against 87% of Code Snap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fraction Help ships an update every 7 months, Code Snap every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
