# Super Lumberjack vs Idle Acorns

The clearest difference is rating: Idle Acorns at 4.8 against Super Lumberjack's 2.9. Idle Acorns also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 43 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 7). Super Lumberjack's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Super Lumberjack costs $0.99 and Idle Acorns $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Idle Acorns holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idle Acorns has 1.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Super Lumberjack's written reviews are positive against 60% of Idle Acorns's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Lumberjack ships an update every 43 months, Idle Acorns every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
