# Cut Notes vs Screening Notes Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screening Notes Pro at every 9 days against Cut Notes's every 4 months. Screening Notes Pro also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Cut Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cut Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Screening Notes Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cut Notes ships an update every 4 months, Screening Notes Pro every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
