# Cut Notes vs Vidarium

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vidarium at every 4 days against Cut Notes's every 4 months. Vidarium also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Cut Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cut Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vidarium sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cut Notes ships an update every 4 months, Vidarium every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
