# Catapult ThunderCloud vs HRewards

The clearest difference is monetization model: HRewards at free against Catapult ThunderCloud's paid. Catapult ThunderCloud's advantage is rating (2.5 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Catapult ThunderCloud holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Catapult ThunderCloud's written reviews are positive against 17% of HRewards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Catapult ThunderCloud ships an update every 6 weeks, HRewards every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
