# CrowdManager vs Peoples Gas Chicago

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CrowdManager at 100% against Peoples Gas Chicago's 56%. CrowdManager also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Peoples Gas Chicago's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (41K vs 12). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Peoples Gas Chicago holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Peoples Gas Chicago has 41K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CrowdManager's written reviews are positive against 56% of Peoples Gas Chicago's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CrowdManager ships an update monthly, Peoples Gas Chicago every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
