# Perspective vs Ritlum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ritlum at every 6 days against Perspective's every 3 weeks. Perspective's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perspective sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ritlum sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Perspective ships an update every 3 weeks, Ritlum every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
