# GeoGebra Classic vs Lectio+

The clearest difference is rating: Lectio+ at 4.6 against GeoGebra Classic's 3.0. Lectio+ also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). GeoGebra Classic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (78 vs 13). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lectio+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. GeoGebra Classic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lectio+ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoGebra Classic has 78 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of GeoGebra Classic's written reviews are positive against 40% of Lectio+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GeoGebra Classic ships an update every 2 weeks, Lectio+ every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
