# Stop vs Bastop

The clearest difference is rating: Stop at 4.6 against Bastop's 1.0. Stop also leads on ratings volume (106K vs 1) and chart position (#112 vs unranked). Bastop's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Bastop asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stop holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stop has 106K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stop ships an update every 3 months, Bastop every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
