# Design Lab vs poster maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Design Lab at 75% against poster maker's 20%. Design Lab also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). poster maker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Both are free to download. Design Lab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and poster maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
