# Design Lab vs Logo Creator

The clearest difference is monetization model: Design Lab at free with in-app purchases against Logo Creator's subscription. Design Lab also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 42%). Logo Creator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Design Lab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Logo Creator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
