# Design Lab vs Poster Maker · Flyer Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Design Lab at 4.7 against Poster Maker · Flyer Creator's 4.2. Design Lab also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 16). Poster Maker · Flyer Creator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Design Lab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Poster Maker · Flyer Creator sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Design Lab holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Design Lab has 6.3K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Design Lab's written reviews are positive against 88% of Poster Maker · Flyer Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Design Lab ships an update every 2 months, Poster Maker · Flyer Creator every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
