# Design Lab vs Retro Deck

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Design Lab at 16.0 against Retro Deck's 18.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Design Lab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Retro Deck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
