# TennisRecord vs USTA Flex

The clearest difference is price: USTA Flex at Free against TennisRecord's $2.99. USTA Flex also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). TennisRecord's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 39%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

USTA Flex is free to download; TennisRecord costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USTA Flex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USTA Flex has 754 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of TennisRecord's written reviews are positive against 39% of USTA Flex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TennisRecord ships an update every 4 months, USTA Flex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
