# IQ Test Pro Edition vs IQ Test

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IQ Test Pro Edition at 79% against IQ Test's 24%. IQ Test Pro Edition also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). IQ Test's advantage is price (Free vs $2.99) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On device support there is nothing between them.

IQ Test is free to download; IQ Test Pro Edition costs $2.99 up front. IQ Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. IQ Test Pro Edition asks for nothing beyond the download.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IQ Test has 1.2K ratings behind it against 141, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of IQ Test Pro Edition's written reviews are positive against 24% of IQ Test's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IQ Test Pro Edition ships an update every 6 weeks, IQ Test every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
