# AlgoApp vs YPT

The clearest difference is ratings volume: AlgoApp at 20K against YPT's 1.7K. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlgoApp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for AlgoApp against 4.7 for YPT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlgoApp has 20K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of AlgoApp's written reviews are positive against 56% of YPT's.

AlgoApp ships an update every 4 days, YPT every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
