# AlgoApp vs Flashside

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flashside at 100% against AlgoApp's 50%. Flashside also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AlgoApp's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (20K vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlgoApp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Flashside asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flashside holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlgoApp has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of AlgoApp's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flashside's.

AlgoApp ships an update every 4 days, Flashside monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
