# AlgoApp vs Deck

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Deck at 100% against AlgoApp's 50%. AlgoApp's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlgoApp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Deck sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlgoApp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlgoApp has 20K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AlgoApp's written reviews are positive against 100% of Deck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AlgoApp ships an update every 4 days, Deck every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
