# AlgoApp vs Notes+

AlgoApp and Notes+ both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of Notes+'s written reviews are positive against 50% of AlgoApp's. AlgoApp's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (20K vs 3.2K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlgoApp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Notes+ sells 35 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for AlgoApp against 4.7 for Notes+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlgoApp has 20K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of AlgoApp's written reviews are positive against 76% of Notes+'s.

AlgoApp ships an update every 4 days, Notes+ every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
