# AlgoApp vs Thea

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thea at 93% against AlgoApp's 50%. Thea also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). AlgoApp's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (20K vs 2.5K). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlgoApp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Thea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thea holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlgoApp has 20K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of AlgoApp's written reviews are positive against 93% of Thea's.

AlgoApp ships an update every 4 days, Thea monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
