# Backwords Game vs Imposter AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Imposter AI at 75% against Backwords Game's 28%. Imposter AI also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). Backwords Game's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Imposter AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Backwords Game asks for nothing beyond the download.

Backwords Game holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Imposter AI has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Backwords Game's written reviews are positive against 75% of Imposter AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Backwords Game ships an update monthly, Imposter AI every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
