# My Notes Safe vs LOCK MEMO

The clearest difference is rating: LOCK MEMO at 4.7 against My Notes Safe's 3.9. LOCK MEMO also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (495 vs 83). My Notes Safe's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Notes Safe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LOCK MEMO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LOCK MEMO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LOCK MEMO has 495 ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of My Notes Safe's written reviews are positive against 74% of LOCK MEMO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Notes Safe ships an update every 2 months, LOCK MEMO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
