# My Notes Safe vs note

The clearest difference is rating: note at 5.0 against My Notes Safe's 3.9. note also leads on ads (none vs shown). My Notes Safe's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 5) and review sentiment (78% vs 68%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Notes Safe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Notes Safe has 83 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of My Notes Safe's written reviews are positive against 68% of note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
