# Azul vs VOLL

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Azul at 15K against VOLL's 44. Azul also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Azul holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Azul has 15K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Azul's written reviews are positive against 38% of VOLL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Azul ships an update every 3 weeks, VOLL fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
