# Azul vs Flighty

Azul and Flighty both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of Flighty's written reviews are positive against 30% of Azul's. Flighty also leads on ratings volume (152K vs 15K) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). Azul's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flighty sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Azul asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Azul against 4.8 for Flighty. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flighty has 152K ratings behind it against 15K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Azul's written reviews are positive against 68% of Flighty's.

Azul ships an update every 3 weeks, Flighty fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
