# Flight Board vs Air Traffic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Air Traffic at 80% against Flight Board's 36%. Flight Board's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Air Traffic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Flight Board asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flight Board holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Board has 31K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Flight Board's written reviews are positive against 80% of Air Traffic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Board ships an update every 2 months, Air Traffic every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
