# PURE vs i

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: i at none against PURE's 14. i also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). PURE's advantage is ratings volume (86K vs 3) and chart position (#9 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PURE sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. i asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for PURE against 4.3 for i. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PURE has 86K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PURE ships an update every 11 days, i every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
