# PURE vs Pretty Match

The clearest difference is rating: PURE at 4.3 against Pretty Match's 2.0. PURE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). Pretty Match's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PURE sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Pretty Match sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PURE holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PURE has 85K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of PURE's written reviews are positive against 0% of Pretty Match's.

PURE ships an update every 11 days, Pretty Match every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
