# BilinGO vs People's Daily

The clearest difference is rating: People's Daily at 4.7 against BilinGO's 2.0. People's Daily also leads on ratings volume (37 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). BilinGO's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

People's Daily holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: People's Daily has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BilinGO's written reviews are positive against 79% of People's Daily's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BilinGO ships an update every 5 months, People's Daily every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
