# BilinGO vs Global Times

The clearest difference is rating: Global Times at 3.7 against BilinGO's 2.0. Global Times also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1). BilinGO's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Global Times holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Global Times has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BilinGO's written reviews are positive against 42% of Global Times's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BilinGO ships an update every 5 months, Global Times every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
