# BilinGO vs CGTN

The clearest difference is rating: CGTN at 4.4 against BilinGO's 2.0. CGTN also leads on ratings volume (395 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). BilinGO's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 54%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CGTN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CGTN has 395 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BilinGO's written reviews are positive against 54% of CGTN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BilinGO ships an update every 5 months, CGTN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
