# Chordology vs Chords Finder

The clearest difference is ads: Chordology at none against Chords Finder's shown. Chordology also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and ratings volume (231 vs 13). Chords Finder's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chordology sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chords Finder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Chordology against 4.5 for Chords Finder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chordology has 231 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
