# Hi vs Emolfi

The clearest difference is rating: Emolfi at 3.8 against Hi's 3.1. Emolfi also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Hi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emolfi sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Hi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Emolfi holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 47 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Hi's written reviews are positive against 50% of Emolfi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hi ships an update daily, Emolfi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
