# Hi vs TalkKing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hi at 57% against TalkKing's 10%. Hi also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (47 vs 4). TalkKing's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TalkKing holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hi has 47 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Hi's written reviews are positive against 10% of TalkKing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hi ships an update daily, TalkKing every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
