# Rave Guardian vs G2 Performance

The clearest difference is review sentiment: G2 Performance at 100% against Rave Guardian's 32%. G2 Performance also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Rave Guardian's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (3K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rave Guardian holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rave Guardian has 3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Rave Guardian's written reviews are positive against 100% of G2 Performance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rave Guardian ships an update every 2 months, G2 Performance every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
