# InformaCast vs TimeClock Plus Clock

The clearest difference is rating: TimeClock Plus Clock at 4.9 against InformaCast's 3.6. TimeClock Plus Clock also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 18) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TimeClock Plus Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeClock Plus Clock has 17K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of InformaCast's written reviews are positive against 45% of TimeClock Plus Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InformaCast ships an update every 6 weeks, TimeClock Plus Clock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
